Primary School Curriculum

A broad and balanced curriculum is offered. At the end of each key stage, each curriculum subject has a target. Students should have reached skills, knowledge and understanding at their appropriate level.

  • Foundation Stage (Pre school and Nursery)
  • Key Stage 1 (Reception to Year 2)
  • Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6). 


Our Foundation Stage curriculum is designed to address six areas of development:

  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
  • Communication, Language and Literacy
  • Mathematical Development (Numeracy)
  • Understanding and Knowledge of the world
  • Physical (Fine and Gross Motor) Development
  • Creative Development.


Students in the Pre-School are introduced to school through play, which enhances their development in all areas.
The comprehensive primary curriculum is divided into seven subject areas:

    • English
    • Mathematics
    • Science
    • Languages (French /Arabic)
    • History/Geography
    • Technology
    • Visual Arts,
    • Physical Education.
